Renovating and adjusting the toilets and showers
The sanitation at Khagendra are in need of thorough adjustment and upgrade. With the current situation, not every toilet is suitable to use, which results in residents having to make an unnecessary amount of effort to shower or simply go to the toilet. It is about time to make the necessary adjustments to make it accessible again for all residents.
The main building has five sanitary rooms: for men, women and employees. The smaller back building has two extra rooms: one shower and one toilet and a room for washing clothes. Over the years, these rooms have deteriorated and they no longer meet today’s needs.
Hygiene and safety cannot be guaranteed anymore. Especially considering residents who are less mobile, showering and going to the toilet has become a proper survival.
The renewal and improving of these important rooms would mean sanitation that is easily and safely accessible for every resident.
A large amount of money is needed.
To ensure that the work is done in the right manor, we work in multiple stages to achieve the whole project.
The first stage will start in November 2018, then two sanitary rooms will be restored and renewed.
Costs for the first stage are ±€3000,-
